Two men possibly linked to a kidnapping case were arrested Tuesday morning at a short-term rental home in Tarzana, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

The arrests happened at a home near the intersection of Hatteras Street and Lindley Avenue just after 10 a.m., according to police. There, residents near the home in question were ordered to stay inside as law enforcement conducted the arrests.

Other residents of the cul-de-sac were asked to leave their homes in the morning but have since been able to return.

LAPD said a victim was recovered in the case and described them as safe. The condition of that individual and details about them were not released. Police added that a third individual may still be outstanding. A description of them was not available.

David Zadeh, the home’s owner, said law enforcement shot through his front window during the confrontation. He said the men and officers were upstairs and downstairs before the arrests were successful.

“The damage, I’m not concerned about,” Zadeh said. “I’m not worried about that, fixing things. What I’m concerned about is the lives, who was in here.”

“Overall, they didn’t tore up the place,” Zadeh added. “…the damage is all minimal; it’s not that bad.”

Details on the kidnapping the men were believed to be connected with were not released. Their names also have not been revealed.

The investigation is ongoing.
